Sign out or change Jellyfin user
Sign out when someone else needs to use Phyn, when you need to switch Jellyfin accounts, or before connecting the app to a different server. Signing out removes the active Phyn session from this device; it does not change your Jellyfin account on the server.
Sign out of Phyn
- Open the account menu.
- Select
Logout. - Wait for Phyn to return to the sign-in screen.
Phyn stops active playback before it signs out.
Shared-device tip: Sign out after using a shared phone, tablet, or computer so another person does not continue with your Jellyfin account.
Sign in as a different user
- From the sign-in screen, enter the other Jellyfin user's credentials.
- Complete the sign-in process.
- Check the home screen and libraries to confirm that Phyn is now using the expected account.
Favorites, permissions, watch history, and available libraries can differ between Jellyfin users.
Change to a different Jellyfin server
- Sign out of the current account.
- On the sign-in screen, select
Change server. - Enter or select the Jellyfin server you want to use.
- Sign in with an account for that server.
If you cannot sign back in
If this happens, confirm that the server address is correct and that the device can reach it. If the same credentials fail in Jellyfin Web, the issue may be with the server or account rather than Phyn.
What happens next
After you sign in, Phyn loads the libraries and permissions for the selected server and Jellyfin user. You can switch again later by repeating the same sign-out flow.
