Cancel or manage billing through Apple or Google

Use this article when you want to cancel, renew, check, or change billing for Phyn Premium.

Phyn Premium billing is handled by the store where the purchase was made. That usually means Apple for iPhone, iPad, and Mac purchases, or Google Play for Android purchases. Phyn can show Premium access in the app, but the store controls payment methods, renewal dates, cancellations, refunds, and billing receipts.

Billing is store-managed: If you purchased through Apple, manage it with your Apple ID. If you purchased through Google Play, manage it with the Google account that made the purchase.

Before you start

Check which platform and store account were used for the purchase. This matters because a subscription may not appear if you are signed in to the wrong Apple ID or Google account.

You may need:

  • The Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase.
  • Access to the App Store or Google Play on the device.
  • Internet access.
  • A recent receipt or purchase confirmation if you need to contact store support.

Do not send full payment details, card numbers, or passwords to Phyn support.

Manage billing on iPhone, iPad, or Mac

Use Apple subscription settings for App Store purchases.

  1. Open the system Settings app or the App Store account page.
  2. Open your Apple ID subscription settings.
  3. Find Phyn.
  4. Review the renewal date, status, and available options.
  5. Change, renew, or cancel from Apple.

If Phyn does not appear, check that the device is signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase.

Manage billing on Android

Use Google Play subscription settings for Google Play purchases.

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Open your account menu.
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Open Subscriptions.
  5. Select Phyn if it appears.
  6. Review the renewal date, status, and available options.
  7. Change, renew, or cancel from Google Play.

If Phyn does not appear, switch Google Play to the Google account that made the purchase and check again.

What happens after cancellation

Canceling usually stops future renewals. It does not always remove Premium immediately. In many cases, Premium remains active until the end of the current billing period.

The exact behavior depends on the store, offer type, subscription state, and local store policy.

Refunds and billing disputes

Refunds are usually handled by Apple or Google because they process the payment. Phyn support can help you understand what the app sees, but the store decides whether a refund is available.

If you contact support, include:

  • Platform, such as iOS, Android, or macOS.
  • Whether the purchase was through Apple or Google.
  • Whether the store still shows the subscription as active.
  • Whether Premium is active in Phyn.
  • A non-sensitive screenshot if it helps show the issue.

Do not send full receipts publicly. If support needs proof of purchase, provide only the safe details requested.

If Premium still appears after cancellation

Premium may remain active until the paid period ends. Check the renewal or expiration date in Apple or Google subscription settings.

If the subscription is expired in the store but Phyn still shows Premium after a long delay, restart Phyn and make sure the device has internet access. Then contact support if the status still looks wrong.
